Isabel Melendez was awarded a top presenter prize at the 2023 national ABRCMS meeting. Isabel was a RISE at Rutgers summer student in the York lab. Where her research project was titled Computational Studies of the 8-17 DNAzyme in Solution with the Presence of Magnesium. Isabel received support from the NASA NJ Space Grant Consortium.
